After multiple years of experience with riding, training, competing in show jumping, and selling young horses, we decided to create a space where we can fully engage in our activities, grow, and create the best possible conditions for our horses and our sports ambitions. The Greenfield Sport Horses Equestrian Complex was created in 2022 as a result of our endeavour. Our goal was to create a complex which would have upscale conditions not only for horses, but also for their owners, to create a place where every rider would find the best stabling, opportunity to train and spend their free time.

Complex

Greenfield Sport Horses Equestrian Complex is located near Hôrka, which is 10 kilometres from Poprad. It is situated on a wonderful, elevated area with a view of the surrounding forests and meadows. The centre of the complex consists of stable with spacious boxes (3.5 m x 4 m) for 24 horses. 12 boxes include outer paddocks (3.5 m x 4 m). The stable features two horse shower stalls and a horse solarium. It also mouths into an indoor riding arena (60 x 27 m) with a footing that compromises of sand and geotextile. Outside, you can find an outdoor sand riding arena (60 x 40 m) with night illumination, circular riding area with the same footing and a horse walker for 6 horses. Grassy runs are set up on the complex’s 7.2 hectares area. The complex also consists of outdoor grass stabling with spacious runs and a shed with waterers. The complex surroundings are perfect for horseback riding in the nature. The riders can use our commodities such as lounge with fully furnished kitchen, microwave, and coffee maker, outside sitting, new toilet facilities with a shower, dressing room, saddle room with private lockers and a room for storing and preparing food. 

Pre jazcov je k dispozícií klubovňa s plne vybavenou kuchynkou, mikrovlnnou rúrou a kávovarom, vonkajšie sedenie, nové sociálne zariadenia so sprchou, šatňa, sedlovňa so súkromnými skrinkami a miestnosť na skladovanie a prípravu krmiva.

Our activities and achievements

We mainly focus on training young horses and selling show jumping horses to different countries. Our leader is an experienced young rider and trainer Samuel Matejka. His achievements include multiple Slovak vice champion titles in the young riders and teams category, two-times champion of Central Slovakia and the participation in the junior category of the European championship. He was also very successful in the dressage and cross-country category. Our riders lead by Samuel Matejka mostly dedicate to show jumping. We regularly organize show jumping trainings, concentration trainings and we also take part in show jumping competitions all around Slovakia as well as in Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, and Austria.
